As the fall slowly draws to an end there are many thoughts dancing through my head...What will winter steelheading bring? We will have an ice over this winter, because last year we were lucky enough to be able to fish all winter!! Well with these questions in my head I decided that I should get up at 4 am and travel to all the Mile Creeks and Elk creek in PA. The fish were spread among the mile creeks, on the bright side very few anglers out considering the sub 30 degree temperature and snow falling :) (my favorite time of the year).
